Jannick Vestergaard says he sees his future with Leicester City.
The Denmark defender is being linked with Fulham.
But he says: "Matches are extremely important. After all, it's more competitive to play matches where it really matters than it is in training, but I have not become a worse football player in the last six months.
“Rather, I actually feel in a better place than I did during the autumn after a very, very short pre-season, if any at all. And then I ran into a couple of injuries and some illness.
“So personally I feel better now. I feel in better physical condition and also feel very comfortable on the field. I think that it has gone well in the matches where I have played.
“Of course, playing time is crucial over a long period of time, also to be the best version of myself. I'm working hard on that.
“I will be highly motivated when I return to Leicester to improve that and I think it will benefit me with a little break at the back of this and a full pre-season."
