Burnley caretaker boss Mike Jackson was delighted with victory over Wolves.

Matej Vydra struck for the 1-0 win.

Jackson said, "We are delighted. When the goal goes in, the roof comes off. I can only give credit to the players, the way they've gone about it. It is three games in a short space of time, and they brought the crowd with them and they responded.

"I wanted them to take confidence from Southampton and West Ham and to enjoy the challenge, enjoy being part of what is coming up. For us, there is still a long way to go, we've got a group who is fighting for each other and they've brought the place together. There is a positive feeling and that comes from results, that builds momentum and belief. We've got to try and keep that going.

"It is a terrific goal, but it was an open game and there were chances for both. We are delighted with the clean sheet, that is two in a row now."
