Italy coach Luciano Spalletti was pleased with their Euro qualifying win against Ukraine.
Italy won 2-1 with Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi scoring twice.
"We must be happy this evening. It is not possible to press constantly and not allow a single cross. We only allowed a couple of dangerous situations," Spalletti told RAI Sport.
“The team played good football and was set out well. Let us not be too picky, because that's not fair either.
“In the second half, Ukraine did well on the counter-attack, because when you lose quality on the edge of the area, they start putting their taller players forward, as it doesn't matter to them losing 2-1 or 3-1. We should've scored more goals."
Spalletti added: “The 20 days were a lot of pressure with a great deal to think about, although I had great support from the Federation."
