Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has reportedly failed a drug test.
Corriere della Sera says Pogba has tested positive for doping with traces of testosterone detected.
It happened in the first match of the season: Udinese-Juventus on 20 August, a game in which he didn't even enter the field.
Testosterone is a substance that cannot be taken by a footballer in Italy even with therapeutic authorisation. Former Manchester United midfielder Pogba therefore risks the maximum sanction of a four-year suspension.
In the meantime, counter-analyses of these first results should be carried out in the coming days.
The disqualification, in cases of doping, reaches up to two years, which could become four in the event of proven intentionality.
