Investigators are demanding a five-match ban for Real Madrid midfielder Fede Valverde.

The probe against the Uruguayan after he punched Villarreal rival Alex Bana in the stadium carpark last season is now complete.

The lead investigator is recommending a five match ban for the Real midfielder. The final ruling will be left to the LaLiga's Competition Committee.

It's reported Valverde punched Baena in the Santiago Bernabeu carpark after Villarreal's 3-2 LaLiga win last season. It's suggested Valverde was reacting to a past insult about his pregnant wife.

Baena has always denied the claim and reported the incident to local police.
