Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku trained on Christmas Day.

Lukaku has made just five appearances for Inter this season due to injury problems.

He was not fully fit at the World Cup where he didn't start any of Belgium's three games in the group phase but he is determined to get back in shape for Inter ahead of the second part of the season.

La Gazzetta dello Sport says the Belgian forward will train during the three days off given by Simone Inzaghi to his players - including Christmas.

Lukaku, on-loan from Chelsea, played 88 minutes in Inter's 2-0 friendly win over Reggina on Thursday, scoring a goal in the second half.
