Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi was delighted with his double for their 2-1 win over SPAL.

SPAL having levelled the scores through Alberto Paloschi before Icardi's winner.

“They were important goals to give us the three points," said Icardi.

“We struggled here last season and knew we had to give something more this term.

"It's important that we got the result and fought hard to win the game."
