Inter Milan produce stellar performance to defeat Barcelona

Inter Milan have caused somewhat of an upset, defeating hot Champions League favourites Barcelona 3-1 at the San Siro. Despite going a goal down in the semi-final first leg after Barcelona's Pedro scored in the 19th minute, the Nerazzurri hit back on the half-hour mark through Wesley Sneijder who finished neatly after a nice pass from Diego Milito.

The visitors were enjoying much more of the possession despite the fact they took a 14-hour bus ride to get to Milan but it didn't amount to anything as Inter grabbed a second goal three minutes after the break.

Brazilian defender Maicon finished another smooth move by Milito to make it 2-1 before the Argentine got himself on the scoresheet with a header in the 68th minute to give his side a two-goal advantage going into the return leg in Barcelona next Wednesday.
