Roberto Mancini has been confirmed as coach next season at Inter Milan. Inter president Erick Thohir lunched yesterday with his predecessor Massimo Moratti.

During the meeting, Thohir agreed with Moratti that Mancini must continue his work next season, reports gianlucadimarzio.com.

Thohir called Mancini to confirm his decision and later in the afternoon met with the coach face-to-face.

Meanwhile, Moratti, who still owns 30 per cent of the club, assured Thohir there was nothing to rumours he was putting a consortium together to buy the club.
