Davide Frattesi was angered by boos for Italy teammate Gigio Donnarumma during their Euro qualifying win against Ukraine.
Frattesi scored twice for the 2-1 victory, but was unhappy with San Siro boos for PSG goalkeeper Donnarumma.
The former AC Milan No1 still has many of his old fans upset over the way he left for Paris, but Inter Milan midfielder Frattesi says: “It was honestly shameful.
“I have never seen anything like this, an international player booed by his own crowd. I do not understand why he gets jeered like that, we are representing Italy here.
“I went over, told him he's great and that we love him, but he doesn't need it. Donnarumma is a top player, he can handle this easily and just shakes it off."
