Finnish entrepreneur Thomas Zilliacus has announced he's planning to buy into Serie A.

Zilliacus made an attempt to buy Manchester United and is now focusing on Serie A.

Inter Milan have been mentioned as a potential target and the Finn said on social media: "We are raising another 400 million USD for investments into Serie A clubs.

“Let's bring Italian football back to the top of the world,with the national team World Cup winners and club teams regular Champions League winners."

Zilliacus will be fronting a group featuring several heavy hitting investors.
