Inter Milan defender Denzel Dumfries says they leave the Champions League final with their heads held high.
Inter lost 1-0 in the final, though ran City close in the second-half.
Dumfries said: "Certainly if you play for Inter you always play to win, I think we can come out with our heads held high. I'm proud of tonight's match, sadly we didn't win. It's a final so we gave everything until the final whistle, we were unlucky not to score.
"I'm proud of how we prepared for this match, we didn't win but we gave everything.
"It's difficult to talk at the moment. We didn't win the Scudetto, we lost this final. We had a good season, but now it's difficult to comment."
