Inter Milan chief Piero Ausilio is adamant Ricky Alvarez is a Sunderland player.

The Argentine's loan deal with Sunderland had the clause of becoming permanent should Sunderland stay up. However, the Wearsiders insist such an option doesn't exist.

"It's a very simple thing, there is no concern on our part," said Ausilio.

"We made an agreement, a transfer which requires Sunderland to make permanent with them staying up. This occurred so we do not do anything but wait.

"He will be a player of Sunderland? For us he is absolutely a player of Sunderland. Sunderland was saved, this was the only condition, everything else is just talk that I have read but I'm not interested."
