Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte is ready to snap up Parma fullback Matteo Darmian at the end of the season.
The former Manchester United defender joined Parma last summer with the aim of eventually moving to Inter.
And while he's under contract to 2023, there is an informal agreement that Darmian will be available to Inter when needed.
Conte is in the market for a new fullback and favours bringing Darmian to Milan, having capped him as Italy coach.
The fullback was sold to Parma by Manchester United for a fee €1.5m, with expectations that Inter were involved.
