Former Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is maintaining contact with Manchester United representatives.
That's the claim of Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, speaking on El Chiringuito.
Zidane is out of work after leaving Real at the end of last season and has been linked with Jose Mourinho's job at United.
Inda stated: "Zidane has a proposal to coach Manchester United.
"They have returned to him and if Mourinho fails, they have told him that he would replace him and that he would be paid the same as the Portuguese: 20 million euros.
"It has been an informal proposal."
Earlier this month, Zidane revealed he expected to soon return to management.
"Soon I will train again," said Zidane, "because it's what I like and what I've done all my life."
