Manchester United are a step closer to signing Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane.
Local reporter Pipi Estrada, speaking on the set of El Chiringuito, has declared Manchester United have already reached a full agreement with Real Madrid for the transfer of Raphael Varane.
However, the 28-year-old defender has not yet made a definitive decision to leave Madrid this summer, insisted fellow journalist Edu Aguirre on the Spanish show.
France's elimination from Euro 2020 last night is expected to see Varane's situation accelerate.
Last week, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez stated on El Transistor: "When he comes back from the Euro, we'll see. He has one year left. We haven't spoken to him. Arrivals and extensions will be after the Euro. We have not received an offer for him. If he wants to go, he will say so, if he wants to stay, he will say so."
