RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner remains determined to join Liverpool.

That's according to Italian football expert Fabrizio Romano.

Werner is also being linked with Chelsea and Manchester United this week.

But Romano posted to social media: “Liverpool two weeks ago asked time to Leipzig for Timo Werner.

"The two clubs are not in official talks yet - but Liverpool are still Werner's priority.

“He spoke with (Jurgen) Klopp many times and he will wait Liverpool. He'd consider other bids only if Liverpool will decide to give up."
