Injury wrecks Inter Milan move for Liverpool defender Agger

Liverpool defender Dan Agger has seen injury thwart a move to Inter Milan.

The Daily Mail says Agger's calf injury may have scuppered his chance of a move to Inter Milan.

Former manager Rafa Benitez was keen on the 25-year-old as a replacement for the injured Walter Samuel.

However, any deal is likely to be shelved as Agger waits to see how his own injury responds to a rest cure.

The Dane saw a specialist last week who discovered calcification of the bone and he could be out three months.
