Chelsea defender Carl Magnay has suffered an injury setback.

The injury suffered by Magnay has ruled him out of action for some time.

"It's disappointing for Carl because he had worked very hard to get back from a back injury and was looking good in training and in games and now to suddenly damage ligaments in his knee and be out for anything up to eight weeks is a real blow for him," reserves coach Steve Holland told chelseafc.com.
