More details of Chelsea's failure to seal the departure of Hakim Ziyech to PSG have emerged.
RMC says PSG chiefs were 'furious' after the Premier League club missed a number of late phone calls from the French side - who are also said to have received unsigned documents from Chelsea as the 11pm deadline approached.
Then the Parisian club tried to call Chelsea at 10.46pm, 10.48pm, 10.49pm and 10.50pm to have a return on their signature.
Then at 10.55pm, Chelsea send back a document which is not signed.
PSG then sent back a version signed by the French club and the player. Chelsea responded at 10.58pm ensuring that everything had been sent - only to supposedly have the wrong attachment.
The correct version is said to have been received three minutes after the deadline closed.
Chelsea had a 'different version of events' but did not wish to comment on the matter.
It was a blow for PSG after the deal for Ziyech looked to finally be on track just hours before the deadline.
The Ligue 1 club launched an appeal to revive the swoop - but that was rejected by Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) early on Wednesday morning.
