Robin van Persie has stated that he will simply have to deal with the pressures that comes with playing for a popular club like Manchester United.
Van Persie was put under intense scrutiny throughout the course of last season due to his below-par run of form in front of goal with many suggesting the Dutchman could be past his prime.
Despite all the criticism, van Persie is not too bothered and insists that he is happy to be under the magnifying glass as it comes with the territory of playing for a big club like United.
He said: "Manchester United is a beast, and that has two sides. Manchester United is viewed and followed by more people than at other clubs and also more media.
"I have to deal with that. I made that choice and must accept the consequences."
