Hull City star Sam Clucas has stated that he keeps on bothering his teammates for tickets for his side's matches.
Clucas earned a dream move to Hull from Chesterfield this summer and the 24-year-old managed to cap his debut for the Tigers with a goal against Huddersfield Town last week.
Clucas' entire family were present at the KC Stadium to witness his crowning moment and the midfielder has now revealed that he is pestering his teammates for tickets for his family to continue watching him play.
"My Mum, Dad, grandad and girlfriend go to all the games. I wind the lads up a bit because I am always pestering them for tickets," Clucas told the Hull Daily Mail.
"They are all really proud of me. I celebrated last week right in front of them. I had seen them when I scored. That was a great feeling. I'd looked for them in the warm-up but couldn't see them. I never usually can. They always moan at me for not waving to them!
"But, as soon as I scored, I spotted them three rows back from the front and I ran over to them. I appreciate everything my parents have done, everything they did in sacrifice. My Dad would take time off work to take me to games and driving me all the way to Leicester, paying out of his own pocket for petrol.
"When I score and we win, it must be great for them. You don't really know until you have kids, I guess. But it must be a great feeling."
