Hull City pair Liam Rosenior, Tom Huddlestone and Joe Dudgeon have spent their summer break studying for their coaching badges.
The Hull Daily Mail says as well as rubbing shoulders with former Manchester United pair Teddy Sheringham and Ronny Johnson, Rosenior, Huddlestone and Dudgeon worked alongside coaches from the grassroots.
Rosenior loved it. He said: "We'd wake up at 7.30am, breakfast at 8am, training pitch for practicals until midday. Then it was lunch, lectures and back out on the training pitch from 4pm to 7pm. Then it was back to lectures until 9pm and sometimes they'd go on until 10.30pm.
"It was like that every day for two weeks. No off days, just one tough routine."
