Hull's Bruce plays down move for Wolves striker Doyle

Hull City manager Steve Bruce has distanced his club from a summer pursuit of Kevin Doyle.

The Republic of Ireland striker has been continually linked with a move away from Wolves following their drop to League One but Bruce says it will not be the KC Stadium where he will land.

"I don't really know where that has come from," Bruce told talkSPORT. "I have been linked with about 150 players and we have taken in four.

"We have brought in Danny Graham [on loan from Sunderland] and then we brought in big Yannick Sagbo from Evian last week so in that department we are okay at the moment."
