Hull City are moving for Liverpool striker Rickie Lambert today.

Tigers boss Steve Bruce hopes to take the England international on-loan before tonight's transfer deadline.

Lambert, 33 later this month, has so far snubbed any chance of leaving Liverpool in this window as he wants to stay and fight for his place.

But that has not dissuaded the Tigers who have come in to try and do a deadline beating move to ease their relegation crisis, says the Mirror.
