Hull City manager Steve Bruce has revealed that the Tigers are still in the hunt to sign Brentford striker Andre Gray.

Hull have been pursuing the services of Gray for much of the summer but have repeatedly been rebuffed in their pursuit for the attacker.

Despite the numerous setbacks, Hull are not giving up on their hopes of signing Gray and Bruce has insisted that he is still in the hunt to land the 24-year-old.

Bruce told the Hull Daily Mail: "We've made a bid which I believe has been turned down.

"Talks are ongoing and let's hope we can get that one over the line too."
