Hull City boss Steve Bruce is convinced Tom Huddlestone can break back into the England squad.
Bruce feels Huddlestone can win back his international place and also believes Jake Livermore, signed on loan from Spurs with Huddlestone, can add to his one England cap by playing regularly for the Tigers.
"That's the challenge for Tom and I know Roy really likes Jake Livermore too," said the Hull manager.
"Just because they play at a less fashionable club that doesn't mean to say they won't benefit from playing every week.
"Tom came on the pitch against Chelsea and everyone said straight away what a great player he is.
"The same goes for Jake. They were on the fringe at Tottenham. They've got a big opportunity here and that's how I sold it.
"That's the beauty of coming here. They've left the bright lights of London to come here and play every week.
"If you play in the Premier League and do well, the stage is there for you. But if you're at a big club and not playing every week, it becomes difficult.
"It doesn't matter who you are and how good a player you are, if you don't play every week you're going to find it a struggle to play for England."
