Hull City boss Steve Bruce fears being forced to drop their pursuit of Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner.
Bruce conceded that the wages and proposed £4.5m fee for Bendtner may be out of reach.
He said: "Nicklas Bendtner, without question, has got huge talent, but he might just be too expensive."
