Howe hails 2-goal Fraser as Bournemouth stun Everton

Bournemouth are out of the bottom three with a crucial 2-1 win over Everton at Dean Court.

Ryan Fraser's deflected effort in the 89th minute earned them the victory.

Fraser opened the scoring 33 minutes in before Idrissa Gueye equalised for Everton.

Cherries boss Eddie Howe said: "There was more drama again today. The last two games really have been incredible with twists and turns, but there's been really good performances under there.

"We make it difficult for ourselves and that's where true character comes through. A goal for them could've easily changed the momentum and that could've played games with us. We were strong at the end of the game and that was pleasing."

On Fraser, he continued: "I'm so pleased for Ryan and he's showing what a good player he really is. He's a great lad and, from his days at Aberdeen, it's been a long way for him to get here development wise.

"The level of the game technically was very high and it shows how well he coped with it and how capable he is. He's really showing what he can do."
