Houston Dynamo have played down suggestions that they are after Brentford striker Clayton Donaldson.
Sky Sports reported that the Dynamo, as well as DC United, were showing considerable interest in the 29-year old Englishman but Houston president Chris Canetti told MLSsoccer.com that there was nothing in the rumour.
Donaldson, who is entering the final year of his contract, scored 24 goals for the Bees last season as they reached the English League One playoff final.
