Holt dry run doesn't bother Norwich boss Hughton

Norwich City manager Chris Hughton is not bothered regarding Grant Holt having a barren run.

The Canaries skipper has not yet hit the target in five Premier League outings this season but Hughton is not worried after he was the clubs leading scorer last term despite not scoring in his first six appearances in the top flight.

"He was our top goal scorer last season but he didn't score in the first six games," said Hughton ahead of tomorrow's visit of Liverpool.

"That's what strikers are used to. The best strikers around have been through long periods when they haven't scored goals.

"If your forward players are contributing towards a performance then that's first and foremost. If they continue to do that it is only a matter of time before they score goals."
