Rasmus Hojlund has revealed the big influence Christian Eriksen had on his move to Manchester United.

The former Atalanta striker's move to United was confirmed on Saturday.

Hojlund told the DBU: "It is of course nice that Christian (Eriksen) is here now. He has already welcomed me.

"He called himself: 'Agent Christian' towards the summer because he did his job well behind the scenes.

"Now I make it sound like he negotiated my deal home, but he just said if I would like to come over here and that they were really hooked on me and thought I was an exciting player.

"So we should see if we could work on it, because they were very interested in me, and he would also like to see a new Dane come."
