New England boss Roy Hodgson paid his first visit to the national football centre on Wednesday in his build-up to taking over the position on a full-time basis on Monday. Hodgson visited St George's Park near Burton, which will become the Football Association's centre of excellence for coaches and sports science and medicine - a centre into which he is expected to have a significant input.
Hodgson has one more match in charge of West Bromwich Albion - at home to Arsenal on Sunday - before he concentrates exclusively on England, with his Euro 2012 squad to be named next Wednesday.
