England coach Roy Hodgson has no doubts over the quality of new Manchester United signing Luke Shaw.

Shaw completed a £27m switch to Old Trafford yesterday.

The 18-year-old starred for Southampton last season in his breakthrough campaign at St Mary's.

Hodgson said: "I really do think Luke has got tremendous quality," he said. "I think that he's really an Ashley Cole in the making."
