Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain was delighted to be on the scoresheet in victory over Sporting Gijon.
Higuain scored Real's first on the day.
"It was a complicated match. We knew Sporting would make it difficult for us and that they would defend as best as they possibly could. We worked hard for a victory and we're happy. We must now think about the Champions League and Bayern Munchen," he said.
"We all work at this, those on the pitch and on the bench alike. You score one day and others it's a teammate. The important things is to be united and win the titles at stake.
"Five finals remain and we must win them come what may. The league title is at stake and we must remain calm to win every game. That's all we think about."
