Henry 'ready to go' for DC United clash says NYRB coach Petke

New York Red Bull head coach Mike Petke suggests Thierry Henry will be ready to start against DC United on the weekend.

The former Arsenal star came off the bench in Sunday's 3-1 loss to Chicago Fire but could be in the eleven for the trip to DC after recovering from a medial ligament strain in his left knee.

"We're both comfortable with him playing more. He's a player we'd like to start but (I'm not sure)," said Petke. "Everything points to him being ready to go."

Petke also said that Fabian Espindola could be back from a two-match absence due to a hamstring problem whilst Peguy Luyindula's starting position is in question after injuring himself at Toyota Park.

"Espindola is doing very well. He had a really good workout today, and all things are pointing to him being available," Petke added.

"He's (Luyindula) going to be a decision in next couple days."
