Arsenal fullback Hector Bellerin is set to miss preseason as he continues his recovery from knee surgery.

The Mirror says Bellerin will not recover in time to be fit for the start of next season as he continues to recover from knee surgery.

He picked up the injury against Chelsea in January, and after he was stretchered off it was revealed to be a rupture to the anterior cruciate ligament of his left knee.

At the time he was ruled out for "six to nine months", and despite recovering well it has been revealed he will still miss the first few weeks of the new season.

Bellerin has made 181 appearances for Arsenal in total, with a return of seven goals.
