Giuliani exclusive: Mancini class has ushered in Azzurri revolution

Classy, offensive and proactive football: Mancini's Italy perfectly reflects what the former Italian soccer star was on the field.

Genius, offensive football and courage: this was Mancini on the pitch, this is his national team.

As revealed by Nicola Giuliani, managing Director of brokerage agency Giulianisportsltd, who specialise in transfers and consultancies between Italy and the UK, told Tribalfootball.com: "Roberto has always been a champion both in the field and as a coach.

"And this experience with the national team is showing how much a manager and scout manager, because he is all this together, can change the fair of an entire football movement in a few months. How? With a touch of class, the same one that has always distinguished him in his professional career."

Mancini's Italy starts with a defence that offers few scoring opportunities to the opposing teams, with the continuous boost of quick and offensive wings.

In midfield, the 54-year-old put aside muscles, a traditional feature of the Azzurri (Gattuso, De Rossi, Di Livio, Conte, Ambrosini and so on), fielding a midfield all phosphorus and geometry, launching Sensi, Jorginho, Verratti and Barella, which is definitely a physical and muscular player, but also has so much quality.

A football-style made of ball possession, quick passes and almost perfectly executed schemes. A football style which is making Italiani fall in love again with their national team.

Talking about strikers, he launched Moise Kean, the new star of the Italian national team. Of his new national team, the young age of the new protagonists captures the eye, young and on the launching pad, unlike the old group of Azzurri, with many players at the end of the cycle and with a game identity to rebuild.

Giuliani added: "Italian National Team was an old national team with young players and poor quality, now it is a national team with a mix of experienced players and lots of quality."

Kean and Zaniolo above all, then Chiesa, Bernaderschi, Pellegrini. Mancini is building from the ground new stars of Italian football, protagonists in Azzurri thanks to Mancio, who has the courage to trust them.

"It is the national team of Juventus' defensive line and the new stars Zaniolo, Kean, Donnarumma," continued Guiliani.

"And of a rediscovered Verratti, absolute leader of the midfield. The national team of real talents like Chiesa and Bernardeschi, this is the national team of Roberto Mancini."

No more Catenaccio and Contropiede, Mancini's Italy wants to win through schemes and with a football style which starts from the bottom, from the goalkeeper. If this is not a revolution…
