Guido Rodriguez insists he wants to stay with Real Betis.
The Argentina midfielder has confirmed talks over a new deal are underway.
"We are in talks and as President Ángel (Haro) said, the market was very busy. That also influences everyone's heads and now we are with a little peace of mind, what the president said, and in a few months we will talk about our future," said Guido.
"There is a very good relationship with me, with the people of the club and with my representatives. And they are going to be good things for everyone.
"We are in talks, I am happy and I am happy here. We are on good terms, always on my side and on the club's side. I thank them and I think they are grateful to me. We tell each other things face to face, in face, and what I had to talk I spoke and they also told me and I think we both understand each other. I respect their place and I think they understand and respect my place too."
