Girona president Pere Guardiola has opened the door to extending the contract of Cristhian Stuani.

The striker, now 36, has been linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League.

But Guardiola says: "We have not received any calls nor do we have any official information that there is a 'offer'.

“Stuani's level is what it is and players like him can always have options. We dream that he will stay with us for this season and next. He has a current contract and, if necessary, we will review a couple of thing."

Stuani's current deal runs to 2026.
