Girona defender Eric Garcia insists they shouldn't change their way of playing after defeat at Athletic Bilbao.

Athletic won 3-2 on Monday night.

Garcia later said: "We have to know where we come from, the history of this team. We do not have the obligation of other teams to be in the Champions League and we are fighting for it.

"The calendar has been complicated and we have faced three teams (Real Sociedad, Real Madrid and Athletic) who, due to budget and everything, should be ahead of us in the standings. Of them, only Madrid surpasses us and it is thanks to our great season.

“We are disappointed by the result, of course, because we had mistakes, but because of our style they can happen. This is not a time for doubts. We are not going to change the style of play, we would be wrong."
