Wales boss Ryan Giggs is confident Mason Greenwood can handle a first team call at Manchester United.

Giggs is backing academy graduate Greenwood to pick up where he left off in pre-season and make his mark in Solskjaer's first team.

He said: "I like Greenwood but playing centre forward for United every week is a different thing.

"Not many youngsters have come through the ranks to play centre forward for the club. Marcus Rashford has done it but they usually buy someone in.

"I think we will see a lot of Mason this season because he is such a talent. Every time I see him I like him but he is still very young and learning the game."
