Ghent chief sets asking price for Liverpool, Spurs target Moses Simon

Ghent are aware of big European interest in star striker Moses Simon.

Simon only arrived in January, but has scored six goals and provided an assist already at Ghent.

The former AS Trencin forward is now interesting Liverpool, Tottenham, Ajax and SC Heerenveen. Spurs have followed Simon since he caught their eye in European action against Trencin.

Ghent chief Michel Louwagie told Het Nieuwsblad: "Our position is clear, we want Moses Simon to stay with us next season.

"The transfer record in Belgium (€19 million for Marouane Fellaini) will be beaten for his an eventual departure.

"We are talking of an amount of €20 million."
