Getafe coach Jose Bordalas has scoffed at complaints from Barcelona counterpart Xavi after yesterday's 0-0 draw.
Xavi branded the game a "disgrace" given Bordalas' tactics and the performance of match officials. Xavi was shown red during the game.
Bordalas later said in response, "I don't think Xavi does the league any kind of service when we assume that it is among the best leagues in the world.
"The greatness of football is that these things can be seen. A small team can take points from Barcelona.
"I do not share his views. It's a way of justifying that they didn't get three points with that team, with excellent players."
He also said, "I completely disagree that it is the referees' fault - they should have shown many more cards. I don't think it has been to our advantage.
"The most violent episode in the match was from Barcelona and I have nothing more to add.
"It is a way of camouflaging the good performance my players delivered. It could never occur to me to justify a defeat or a draw with the actions of the opponent. It's a lack of respect."
