Chelsea attacker Kai Havertz has withdrawn from the German training camp.

Germany are set to take on Belgium in a friendly match on Tuesday night.

Havertz will not take any part in the match, as he travels back to London and his club side.

“Kai Havertz has traveled home from the squad due to illness," Germany announced on their official Twitter account.

The attacking midfielder did play in a 2-0 win over Peru on Saturday.

While other nations are busy with Euro 2024 qualifiers, as host nation of the tournament, Germany are guaranteed a spot in the competition.
