Genoa are planning a shock bid for Bayern Munich defender Lucio.

After selling the likes of Diego Milito, Thiago Motta (both Inter Milan) and Matteo Ferrari (Besiktas), Genoa have the necessary cash to make a big-name signing.

Lucio is unsettled at Bayern and knows Genoa are keen.
