Genoa coach Alberto Gilardino was happy after last night's 1-1 draw with Juventus.
Fede Chiesa's penalty had Juve ahead before Genoa equalised through Albert Gudmundsson.
Gilardino said: "I had asked the boys this in recent days, to maintain their willingness to propose things and play. Tonight, the intention was to work on width, then in the second half I had to put weight up front, Ekuban worked for the team, and we deserved this draw and this performance against a great team."
On Ruslan Malinovskyi, he also said: “I didn't change his technical qualities but only his tactical approach, which was slightly different. At this moment in his career, working further away from goal could help him make a leap in quality.
“Tonight, he was indispensable for us, he gave an important performance, and the desire was to create the conditions to put Juventus in difficulty by playing the ball on the ground."
