Manchester United youngster Alejandro Garnacho has thanked Lisandro Martinez for his support.
The attacking talent from Argentina made his first team breakthrough at United last season.
Garnacho, who is on international duty with Argentina, heaped praise on countryman Martinez.
"Lisandro is like my dad in Manchester," he told TyC Sports.
"He helps me a lot in every way he can. When I do something right, good; when I do something wrong, he tells me that too. He's a top-notch person. He talks to me about the national team and helps me a lot."
"[Lionel] “Scaloni asked me if I'm nervous; he told me to be calm, to play as I know, and he's going to give me an opportunity.
“When I play, I try to be myself. I am a young boy, but my age does not matter to me. I try to play as I know how. The truth is, everyone here, the teammates, are helping and treating me very good."
