Gareth Bale failed to take the training pitch at Real Madrid on Wednesday.

The Welshman has returned from international duty with a knee discomfort and worked out in the gym instead, reports Marca.

The forward played in Wales' 1-0 win over Bulgaria on Sunday and has returned to his club with an issue, even though he didn't appear to pick up any injury during the game.

Bale is awaiting a meeting with Los Blancos to find a solution regarding his future, which is extremely uncertain.

Meanwhile, Zinedine Zidane prepared a very demanding session, although he was still without some of the club's internationals, such as Eden Hazard, Luka Jovic, Raphael Varane and Ferland Mendy.
