Galatasaray are keeping tabs on Lukas Podolski's situation at Arsenal.
The Germany international has stated he may seek to leave Arsenal in January after falling out of the first team picture this season.
Gala coach Cesare Prandelli is a big fan of Podolski and would like to bring him to Istanbul.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger admits Podolski has not quite lived up to expectations.
"I bought Lukas Podolski to be a centre forward or a wide player but after a while I thought he is only a wide player, not a centre forward," Wenger said.
"He can play behind the striker but not completely at the top. Sometimes you have to revise your judgment."
